The Hartford Writing Center exists to support and coordinate the writing efforts of students and instructors at UConn’s Hartford campus. The Writing Center extends the interactive drafting work of the classroom by offering students access to trained professional and peer tutors. Our staff engages writers of all proficiency levels in one-on-one consulting sessions aimed at developing discipline-specific writing skills and student self-sufficiency.

The Writing Center works to ensure that students and instructors receive the level of quality, comprehensive support required by UConn’s ambitious writing program.
